Over the past year, the pursuit of new TB drugs has seen incredible progress. Positive results of first regimen trial testing PaMZ, the approval of bedaquiline, and a new commitment to address pediatric TB were just a few of the milestones since World TB Day 2012. At the same time, there has been a continued evolution of deadly drug-resistant TB within a more difficult resource-constrained landscape. Indeed, it is a critical time to push forward the hope on behalf of those battling TB.
