Ann Nguyen joined the TB Alliance team in January 2025. As Manager of External Affairs, she is responsible for the development and roll out of resource mobilization, donor engagement and advocacy, new business development, and post-award project initiatives and processes.
Ann is a Humanitarian Aid and International Development professional with over 10 years of technical and managerial expertise leading strategic partnerships, donor engagement and advocacy, and new business development initiatives in response to emerging and evolving global crises.
Prior to joining TB Alliance, Ann worked at the International Rescue Committee (IRC), a global humanitarian aid organization that provides emergency aid and long-term assistance to refugees and individuals displaced by war, persecution, or natural disasters. Amidst her various roles at IRC, she served as US Government Advisor in which she managed IRC’s institutional-level donor engagements, strategies, and relationships with USAID, Department of State, and CDC, as well as led regional emergency responses and multi-sectoral programs for IRC’s Horn of Africa and East Africa Country Programs. Before IRC, she developed and led international development programs in Food Security, Economic Resilience, and Agricultural Development across Africa, Asia, and Europe.
She holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Security Studies from Webster University’s Global Masters Program in Europe and Asia and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from The University of Vermont.
